A thing of beauty



This is a unique blog on literature. The aim of this blog is to make the people drink the life to the least by the touch of golden stick of literature. To know the unknown, to see the unseen and to discover the covered is the main purpose of any literature. There are many versatile geneous in our literature. Among them John Keats is one of them. He is considered as one of the romantic poets. He is well-known for his odes which have touched the hearts of the readers. John Keats devoted his short life to the perfection of poetry marked by vivid imagery, great sensuous appeal and the attempt to express a philosophy through classical legend. The basic theme of his poetry is the people’s joy in experiencing beauty and his sorrow in knowing the both joy and beauty last for a very short time. Keats tries to capture the passing moment and give it a lasting significance in his poetry. According to John Keats:

               And joy whose hand is ever at his lips
